TAMPA BAY, Fla. (CBS12) — Three boaters needed rescuing after they became stuck on a sandbar in Tampa Bay on Saturday night.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said that once the tide receded, its marine unit used an airboat to locate the stranded boaters and bring them back to shore.

Deputy body camera video shows deputies approaching the vessel. A woman on the boat can be heard saying, “I’m so happy to see you guys.”

“We’re here. I told you we were coming,” a deputy can be heard saying in the video.
