Hector Bustos appointed to the Clay County bench
Gov. Ron DeSantis on October 30 appointed Hector Bustos of Fleming Island to serve as judge on the Clay County Court
Bustos has served as an assistant state attorney for the Fourth Judicial Circuit since 2013. He served as a division chief of county and juvenile court and as lead attorney for traffic homicides in Clay County.
He earned his bachelor’s degree from Florida State University and juris doctor from Florida Coastal. Bustos fills the judicial vacancy created by the enactment of Senate Bill 2508.
