DAYTON, Ohio (WKEF) — A Tornado Watch is issued for most of the Miami Valley until 5 am Thursday.

The same complex of storms that’s been producing warnings in Illinois and Indiana is bringing the potential for a few tornadoes, and a strong tornado cannot be ruled out.

Make sure to have a way to get your warnings tonight, with NOAA weather radio and Wireless Enabled Alerts sent to your phone being the most reliable.

Do not rely on outdoor tornado sirens, people can easily miss these going off while sleeping or staying inside.
