Killswitch Engage brought a heavy, high-energy night of metal to Hard Rock Live Orlando on Tuesday, June 16, joined by Machine Head, Iron Reagan and Havok for a stacked stop on the band’s 2026 headline U.S. tour.
The tour marks Killswitch Engage’s first U.S. run since last year’s Summer of Loud tour and comes in support of the band’s latest album, This Consequence, out now via Metal Blade. The album includes “I Believe,” a Top 5 single that peaked at No. 3, and continues the band’s long-running place in the modern metal scene.

The night started early at 6:30 p.m. with Havok opening the show with a fast and aggressive five-song set. The Colorado thrash metal band wasted no time getting the crowd moving, kicking things off with “Point of No Return” before tearing through “Fear Campaign,” “Fifth Generation Warfare,” “Intention to Deceive” and “From the Cradle to the Grave.”

Iron Reagan followed with a loud burst of crossover thrash and hardcore energy, keeping the pace moving before the night shifted into Machine Head’s set. In the press release announcing the tour, Killswitch Engage vocalist Jesse Leach described the lineup as “a stacked and powerful crew of bands,” and that energy was clear inside Hard Rock Live as each act helped build momentum for the headliner.

Machine Head then pushed the night to another level with a powerful set that included “Imperium,” “CHØKE ØN THE ASHES ØF YØUR HATE,” “Game Over,” “ØUTSIDER,” “Locust,” “BØNESCRAPER,” “Is There Anybody Out There?” and “Davidian,” giving the crowd a strong dose of groove metal before Killswitch Engage took over the stage.

When Killswitch Engage walked out, the energy inside Hard Rock Live quickly shifted into full force. The band opened with “In Due Time” before moving through a setlist that balanced fan favorites, older classics and newer material from This Consequence.

Songs like “This Is Absolution,” “Fixation on the Darkness,” “The End of Heartache,” “Rose of Sharyn,” “This Fire,” “My Curse” and “My Last Serenade” gave longtime fans plenty to sing along to, while newer tracks including “Aftermath,” “Forever Aligned” and “I Believe” showed the band continuing to push forward.

One of the night’s biggest moments came when vocalist Jesse Leach crowd surfed over the fans, microphone still in hand, as the Orlando crowd carried the energy all the way to the front of the room. It was the kind of moment that captured what makes a Killswitch Engage show feel so alive — heavy, chaotic and completely connected to the audience.
Leach delivered the kind of performance that has helped define Killswitch Engage’s sound, moving between aggressive vocals and melodic moments with power and emotion. The rest of the band matched that intensity with tight musicianship, heavy breakdowns and the kind of stage presence that kept the Orlando crowd locked in from start to finish.

More than 20 years into their career, Killswitch Engage remain one of the most enduring bands in modern metal, with multiple gold and platinum certifications and three Grammy nominations. Their Orlando stop was loud, emotional and full of energy — a reminder that the band’s connection with fans is still as strong as ever.
