Giants aim to extend season-longest winning streak as series opens against the Marlins

After taking a pair of games from the Braves earlier in the week, the San Francisco Giants continue their southeastern road trip on Friday night as they begin a three-game weekend series against the Miami Marlins, looking to push their season-longest winning streak to four games. The Marlins have won 11 of their last 15 games, including five in a row inside loanDepot Park, having allowed just 10 runs during their home winning streak. The Giants will start third-year righty Landen Roupp (5-7, 4.24 ERA) in search of his first win since April, having been saddled with losses in six of his last eight outings.
