June 22, 2026 – The Clearwater Marine Aquarium Research Institute has named Dr. Anmari Álvarez-Alemán as its new senior vice president of research and conservation. According to a prepared statement, she will oversee the aquarium and the research institute’s Conservation Education Department and ensure “alignment across programs to further the organization’s mission to rescue, rehabilitate and research marine life.”
