Discount carrier Breeze Airways is adding another pair of U.S. cities this fall to its growing bundle of new destinations from Fort Lauderdale Hollywood-International Airport: Dayton, Ohio and Trenton, New Jersey.

The Dayton flights will be nonstops Mondays through Fridays starting Oct. 9, with an introductory fare of $69 one-way

The $69 “no flex” fare to Dayton is valid only for travel from Oct. 9 through March 23, 2027. The price includes taxes and  government fees.

The Trenton flights will be one-stop trips on Thursdays and Sundays starting Sept. 20. The fares will vary, and the introductory discount does not apply because the Trenton flights include a single stop prior to the final destination.

Travelers can start booking reservations for both cities Wednesday by visiting flybreeze.com or through the carrier’s app, the airline said in an announcement.

Breeze, which is based in Utah, operates more than 300 year-round and seasonal routes to 91 cities in the United States, Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean. Its passengers fly aboard a new fleet of Airbus A220-300 jetliners.

Founded in May 2021, Breeze is among those carriers that have buttressed their flight schedules at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International amid the financial decline of the now-defunct Spirit Airlines of Dania Beach, which collapsed and stopped flying on May 2.

In late February, Breeze announced it was adding eight flights out of Fort Lauderdale starting in early July, including service to Tallahassee, Tampa and Jacksonville.

By the time early October rolls around, Breeze will be serving 16 destinations out of Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International.
