STUART, Fla. (CBS12) — Emergency crews are responding to a rollover crash at a busy Stuart intersection on Thursday afternoon.
The Stuart Police Department said officers and fire rescue units were dispatched to the scene at SE Georgia Avenue and SE Osceola Street, where preliminary information indicates a Nissan Rogue struck a parked vehicle. The impact caused the Nissan to overturn, officials said.
One person was transported to a nearby hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening, according to SPD. Authorities have not released the person’s identity.

The crash has led to traffic disruptions in the area as crews work to clear the scene and investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision.

Police urged motorists to avoid the intersection and use alternate routes while emergency personnel remain on site. It is unclear how long delays will continue.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
