NORTH LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Six-year-old Neissa Diligence, who was injured during a house fire in North Lauderdale, has died, Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies announced on Thursday.

The house fire ignited early Saturday morning, and neighbors rushed to help in the area of Southwest Eighth Court and 81st Terrace.

Marie Ange Therancy, a grandmother who was at the home during the fire, also died, BSO deputies announced on Tuesday.

There were four others injured. Shaneé Thompson asked the public for help on GoFundMe as the grieving family planned their funerals.
