4 Universal Orlando Snacks You Can Now Get in Texas

The new Universal Kids Resort opens on July 1st, but we were lucky enough to visit it beforehand.

We conquered all seven lands — including rides and snacks — and we’re happy to report that some of our favorite eats from Universal Orlando Resort can now be found in the Lone Star State! So, which snacks can you find at both Universal Orlando AND Universal Kids Resort? We’re glad you asked!

There are four snacks found at Universal Orlando that you can now get at Universal Kids Resort in Texas, and a few of them happen to be some of our favorites!

Shrekzel

The infamous Shrekzel is now available at both parks! This is a classic pretzel — in the shape of Shrek — and at Universal Orlando, it’s served with green cheese. It’s cold, green “plastic cheese,” and it tastes just about how you would expect. We were not fans. You can find it in DreamWorks Land!

Luckily, the Shrezel that’s available at Universal Kids Resort is served with regular plastic cheese, and you can find it inside Shrek’s Swamp at Swamp Snacks!

Mac & Cheese Cones

At Universal Kids Resort, you can find a Mac & Cheese Cone at Bello Bay Bites inside the Minions vs. Minions: Bello Bay Club land. This cone is a lot of fun, but we still think it needs more flavor. The cone itself is great with a buttery garlic flavor, and the mac and cheese is fine.

Epic Universe still wins when it comes to Mac & Cheese Cones, though. At Hooligan’s Grog & Gruel in the Isle of Berk, you can find multiple different Mac & Cheese Cones, and these are WAY better — with some unique flavors going on.

Delicious

One of our favorites is the Goldfish Mac & Cheese Cone. The mac and cheese was a creamy white cheddar blend, and they were pleased to find that each bite was evenly coated, but not drowning in cheese sauce. It was just enough to satisfy your snack attack without leaving you with an overly heavy feeling. The fun part of this one is that there are Goldfish crackers sprinkled on top AND hidden at the bottom!

DOLE Whip

It’s true — DOLE Whip isn’t just found at Disney parks! You can find classic DOLE Whip at Schwab’s Pharmacy and at Wimpy’s at Universal Orlando. This is your standard Pineapple DOLE Whip with the flavor you know and love.

At Universal Kids Resort’s SpongeBob SquarePants Bikini Bottom, you can head to Goofy Goober’s to get the Triple Gooberberry Sunrise. This is made with vanilla and chocolate ice cream, strawberry DOLE Whip, and chocolate fudge with crushed smore’s cookies crumble and strawberry Pop-Tarts pieces, whipped topping, banana, and a cherry on top.

This snack also comes in a souvenir cup that looks just like the Triple Gooberberry Sunrise from SpongeBob! My 8-year-old self would be obsessed (and to be honest, my 32-year-old self might be, too!).

Trolls Cones

In Universal Orlando’s DreamWorks Land, Trolls Treats is where you can find vibrant swirls of ice cream shaped like your favorite Trolls’ twisty hairstyles. And you can also find similar cones at BroZone Cones at Universal Kids Resort in TrollsFest land!
