Orlando Health is moving forward with plans to build a full-service hospital at the Tupperware campus in Osceola County, the healthcare network confirmed to WESH 2 News. A spokesperson for Orlando Health said it seeks to expand its Emergency Room and Medical Pavilion into an acute care hospital. This would be connected to a new patient tower with 146 hospital beds, the spokesperson said in a statement. “We are dedicated to advancing the compassionate, high-quality healthcare our team members provide in the communities we are grateful to serve,” the statement reads. “We look forward to sharing more information as plans progress.” Tupperware Brands Corporation shut down its Osceola County headquarters in 2024 after filing for bankruptcy, laying off some 145 employees.
