A Jacksonville man is behind bars after the Onslow County Sheriff’s Office charged him with multiple methamphetamine-related offenses.
According to jail records, 47-year-old James Weeks was arrested Thursday, June 25. He faces two counts of possession with intent to manufacture, sell, or deliver methamphetamine, two counts of maintaining a vehicle or dwelling for keeping or selling a controlled substance, and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.
According to charging documents, investigators say Weeks possessed methamphetamine with the intent to sell or deliver during two separate incidents in May.
Records also allege Weeks used a home on Ramsey Road in Jacksonville and a white GMC/Chevrolet pickup truck to keep and sell methamphetamine.
Weeks is being held in the Onslow County Detention Center under a $50,000 secured bond.
