Anthony Tizol is heading back to his home state after one season of college baseball, officially committing to continue his career at Tallahassee State College.
The former J.P. Taravella standout graduated in 2025 after putting together an impressive senior season. Tizol won three games on the mound while posting a 3.02 ERA and also contributed offensively, hitting four home runs during his final high school campaign.
Tizol began his collegiate career at Dominican University in Illinois and made an immediate impact during his freshman season. He appeared in seven games and recorded a stellar 0.82 ERA, allowing only one earned run over 11 innings while striking out nine batters.
Now returning to Florida, Tizol joins a Tallahassee State College program coming off a 21-win season. The Eagles have also developed professional talent, with seven former players selected in the Major League Baseball Draft.
