TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – The Tallahassee Soccer Club enjoyed its regular season finale on Friday night, beating LAX FC 8-0 at Gene Cox Stadium.
The win clinched a playoff spot in the East Division playoffs.
Kasper Wollstein scored five goals in the victory.
“I think it’s always nice to score goals,” said head coach Joel Di Castri. “We talked today about making sure that we enjoy ourselves because ultimately we’re also out here creating memories. We’re a summer team that in one month’s time is going to be finished. So just wanted to make sure today that the boys understood that what we’re trying to achieve for this season is enjoy every moment and today I think they enjoyed several moments.”
The team will play an exhibition match on July 3. The playoff game will be on July 8.
