A woman was taken to the hospital, and a person was detained after an overnight shooting in Northwest Miami-Dade, deputies said.
According to the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office, deputies on Friday night arrived in the area of Northwest 103rd Street and Northwest 10th Avenue after receiving reports of a ShotSpotter alert.
When deputies arrived at the scene, they found a woman who had apparent gunshot wounds, and she was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
During their investigation, deputies detained one person for questioning.
No arrests have been made.
