A 5-year-old was killed on Friday night after he was struck by a pickup truck in Miami-Dade County, deputies said.
According to the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office, the incident happened in the area of 166th Street and 177th Avenue near the Miami Motocross Park
Deputies said the boy was riding his bicycle between cars when he was hit by the truck.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators said the driver remained at the scene and is cooperating.
It’s unclear if the driver will face any charges.
