MARTIN COUNTY, Fla. (CBS12) — New details from Saturday morning’s deadly head-on crash reveal the victims as a 31-year-old Stuart man and a 63-year-old man from Indiantown.

Troopers with Florida Highway Patrol say a Jeep Patriot driven by the 63-year-old was driving northbound on SW Allapattah Road heading towards Martin Highway while the Mercury Grand Marquis driven by the 31-year-old was traveling southbound on SW Allapattah Road heading towards SW Warfield Blvd.

According to a news release, both vehicles collided head-on, killing both drivers. Troopers noted that neither vehicle had passengers.

At this time, the crash remains under investigation by FHP.
