High temperatures combined with high humidity could result in dangerous heat this afternoon across Tampa Bay.
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — A Weather Impact Alert has been issued for dangerous heat across Tampa Bay from noon until 6 p.m. Monday.
The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory for Citrus and Hernando counties during that time frame for the possibility of dangerous heat.
While the advisory has only been issued for a few northern counties, dangerous heat is possible across the entire Tampa Bay area. Models show the feels-like temperatures ranging from 105° to 110°.
