JACKSONVILLE, N.C. (WITN) – A Jacksonville man is being held without bond after warrants say he was arrested for assault by strangulation.
Warrants say Jacksonville police arrested Hayden Creamer for an assault that happened Saturday.
Warrants say 21-year-old Creamer grabbed the victim’s throat with both hands and cut off airflow until they almost passed out.
The documents also say he bruised the victim‘s throat and ear and they had trouble swallowing along with pain in their throat.
He’s been charged with felony assault by strangulation.
Creamer is being held without bond in the Onslow County Detention Center.
