CABOT, Ark. (KATV) — The Cities of Cabot and Jacksonville are banding together to honor fallen Marked Tree Police Officer Trevor Howard.
Tuesday morning, the Cabot Police Department and Fire Department will escort Howard from North Little Rock to his home in Marked Tree.
The escort procession is scheduled to travel through Cabot on I-57 at around 10 to 10:30 a.m.
Both departments are staging emergency vehicles and displaying the American Flag on the Highway 38 overpass at Exit 31.
“We appreciate your patience and understanding as we join agencies across Arkansas in paying our final respects. Please plan your travel accordingly, and keep Officer Howard’s family, friends, and the Marked Tree Police Department in your thoughts.”
During this time, the eastbound lane of Highway 38 will be temporarily blocked.
The Jacksonville Police Department will also stage emergency vehicles and the American flag on the N. James Street bridge.
