If your closet is full of stuff you’re not wearing, this is your intervention. No, it doesn’t matter that the tags are still on. Yes, that did look cute when you wore it five years ago. But wouldn’t it be nice to give someone else a chance to actually wear that stuff? And try again with something new?
If spending on new clothes or “donating” to the landfill has been holding you back from a closet clean out, consider a clothing swap.
Sans Market in St. Pete holds quarterly swaps, as does Grassroots Kava House bimonthly, and Deviant Libation is a frequent swap stop.
This one, at the latter, is gender- and size-inclusive, with leftovers going to CASA or Out of the Closet. There’s no cover, but alcoholic and N/A drinks will be available for purchase and food trucks will be onsite.
There is no cover for Community Clothing Exchange, happening Sunday, July 5 in Tampa.
