Buc-ee’s will add four locations across Florida: Fort Pierce, Tallahassee, Ocala, and Port Charlotte. The Texas-based chain keeps expanding throughout the Southeast with this announcement.

Fort Pierce gets a 76,000-square-foot facility near I-95 and Indrio Road. The location will have 120 gas pumps. Eighteen electric vehicle charging stations are coming too. More than 700 parking spaces will fill the property.

Fort Pierce should open in late 2027 or early 2028. Tallahassee has a 2027 target.

Ocala won’t open until 2029, making it part of a later phase. Port Charlotte rounds out the state’s additions, though the company hasn’t released a date for that one.

The convenience store chain opened its westernmost location in Goodyear, Arizona, on June 22, 2026. CEO Arch “Beaver” Aplin III hinted at the Goodyear ribbon-cutting that more Arizona stores could be coming.

The company is working on dozens of stores across 16 states. Arkansas, Georgia, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Nebraska, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, and Wisconsin are all on the list.

Building a travel center takes 18 to 24 months once crews break ground, according to the company. That timeline helps explain the staggered openings for these Florida projects.

Fort Pierce represents one of the chain’s larger builds. With 120 fuel pumps, it will rank among the biggest gas stations in the region.

Electric vehicle infrastructure is part of each new build. The 18 charging stations at Fort Pierce show the company’s push to serve both gas and electric vehicle drivers.

Florida’s four additions will join other stores the chain has been building in the state. The company has been adding stores in Florida over the past several years as part of its eastern expansion.

The 700-plus parking spaces planned for Fort Pierce will handle both passenger vehicles and larger trucks. That capacity matches what the chain has built at other locations.

The company has not shared how much money the Florida projects will cost. Each store brings several hundred workers once it opens.
