Cape Coral’s audited financial report for fiscal year 2025 shows the city’s total net position increased by $111.9 million, or 9.8%, reflecting gains in both governmental and business-type activities. Governmental activities added $64.2 million, while utilities and other business-type operations increased by $47.7 million. The city’s General Fund also reported a $4.3 million increase in fund balance. The Financial Services Department released the 219-page Annual Comprehensive Financial Report, along with a 15-page Popular Annual Financial Report, to provide residents with an overview of the city’s finances.
