A stellar era has begun at Orlando Science Center! The Dome by Dr. Phillips Charities is officially open, and bold experiences that inspire curiosity and wonder await.
The newly reimagined space now features stunning 8K laser projection, 30,000 watts of surround sound, a seamless NanoSeam screen and an expanded seating capacity of 315 guests. This immersive theater experience returns the Science Center to its roots as Central Florida’s premier destination for planetarium shows. With 419 individual screen panels and a powerful sound system, the Dome brings planetarium and laser light shows, giant screen films, and full-dome experiences to life.
No two planetarium shows are the same at OSC. With an expert live presenter, guests will explore the skies above Orlando, discover constellations and planets, and travel to the edge of the universe. As breathtaking images shine above the crowd in this interactive experience, guests are inspired to ask questions and learn more about the cosmos.

Laser light shows are also back at the Science Center! In these high-energy shows, music and vibrant laser visuals combine for a dazzling experience. From classic rock to today’s pop hits, there’s a laser light show for everyone to enjoy. Catch a different laser light show during every evening of Stellar Nights — special extended hours that keep the Science Center open until 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays from July 10 through August 1.
With a variety of giant-screen programs, guests can marvel at epic films that blend powerful storytelling and vivid imagery into a cinematic experience that goes above and beyond traditional theaters.
If you’ve ever wondered what it would be like to dive deep into the ocean or soar high in the sky and into the galaxy, don’t miss the new full-dome educational experiences. Using the entire dome as a screen, these shows surround guests with visuals incorporating animation, live-action and archival footage. From space exploration to nature and even beyond, these shows are designed to teach you something new.
