MIAMI TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKEF) — Miami Township Police are asking the public for any information they may have about the suspects in a robbery investigation.
According to the department’s Facebook post, this incident occurred Friday around 5:00 p.m. at JCPenney.
Police say three females were involved in a theft at the store. As they were exiting, Loss Prevention attempted to stop them, when one of the subjects sprayed Loss Prevention with pepper spray.
The individuals then fled the scene in a black Acura sedan. The police say officers tried to stop them, but the subjects drove “recklessly” in and out of traffic and then headed northbound on I-75, according to the post.
This investigation remains ongoing, and all three females are wanted for questioning regarding potential robbery charges.
