A woman was killed after being struck by a Brightline train Fort Lauderdale on Thursday night, according to police.
At around 9:20 p.m., the Fort Lauderdale Police Department got a call that a woman had been struck by the train just south of West Broward Boulevard. Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue and officers found the woman dead.
Police say she will be publicly identified once her family is notified.
