A man was fatally shot in Fort Lauderdale, and one person was detained on Sunday, police said.
According to Fort Lauderdale Police, officers at around 4:30 a.m. arrived at a parking garage at 151 SW 2nd St., where they found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Officers treated the man until fire rescue crews took him to the Broward Health Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.
His identity was not released.
Police said one person was detained for questioning, and a gun was found in the area.
No arrests were made as the investigation into the shooting continues.
