TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – This Fourth of July, a Tallahassee family is celebrating more than just the nation’s birthday; they’re also celebrating their new baby.
Baby Mae is the first baby born at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital this Fourth of July.
Born on the United States’ historic 250th Independence Day, sweet Baby Mae brings a whole new meaning to the American Dream for her proud parents.
Baby Mae made her grand entrance at 4:19 a.m. Saturday morning, weighing 8 pounds, 4 ounces and measuring 21 inches.
Her mom, Deici, says she’s happy to share a birthday with the U.S.A. “I’m happy that she shares a birthday with the USA. It’s a special day for our baby.” Deici said.
