PORT ST. LUCIE —Police are investigating gunfire that happened early Nov. 4 in the parking lot of a pub.
What happened: At about 2:30 a.m. police responded to the parking lot of Harper’s Pub in the 1700 block of Southeast Port St. Lucie Boulevard for reports of a disturbance, according to Port St. Lucie Police.
A preliminary investigation showed a disturbance in the parking lot after the pub closed. A man with a handgun fired four shots, which did not hit anyone. Three men and a woman, who were believed to have been in the pub, were detained for questioning, police said in a news release.
A handgun and four shell casings were found in the parking lot. There is no threat to the public, and the police are not looking for anyone, according to the news release.
