An investigation is underway in Plantation on Monday after a suspect accused of stealing a tractor-trailer got out and fled the area, police said.
According to Plantation Police, the suspect bailed out in the 200 block of South State Road 7.
Police said officers are assisting the Broward Sheriff’s Office and the Florida Highway Patrol with a perimeter that was established in the area.
Residents are urged to stay inside their homes as the investigation remains active.
