MARTIN COUNTY, Fla. (CBS12) — A major multi-vehicle crash temporarily shut down all northbound lanes of Florida’s Turnpike in Martin County on Monday afternoon.
According to Florida 511, the crash occurred just after 3 p.m. on Florida’s Turnpike between mile markers 126 and 127 near Palm City, just south of the Martin Downs Boulevard interchange.
Florida 511 reported that all northbound lanes were blocked as of its latest update at 3:42 p.m. At 3:53 p.m., only the left shoulder is blocked, according to FL511.
Drivers traveling through the area should expect significant delays and consider alternate routes.

Officials also reported a Road Ranger vehicle at the scene and reminded motorists to move over or slow down when approaching emergency and service vehicles on the roadway.
