We’re starting the day with temperatures in the 70’s, and you’ll notice plenty of sunshine through the morning hours.
As we head into the afternoon, temperatures will soar into the upper 90s, with heat index values climbing well above 100 degrees, so be sure to stay hydrated if you’ll be outdoors.
We’ll also be watching for scattered afternoon and evening thunderstorms to develop, producing brief heavy rain, gusty winds, and frequent lightning before winding down after sunset.
