Florida court calls for judge to be fined for donating almost $30K to left-wing causes

WASHINGTON (TNND) — The Florida Supreme Court called for a state judge to be fined after she donated almost $30,000 to left-wing candidates and causes.

Justice Diana M. Tennis donated to former President Joe Biden, former Democratic Florida Sen. Bill Nelson and multiple PACs such as the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.

She admitted to making over 900 donations, adding to a Toal of $29,154 since 2016, according to Mediaite.

Her actions violate Florida judicial canon, which bans judges from making political donations.

The court ruled that she should be fined, but didn’t say how much she would be fined.

“Should the parties agree to the imposition of a fine in addition to a public reprimand, a revised Findings and Recommendations of Discipline and revised Stipulation should be filed with the Court within 30 days of the date of this order,” the court said in a statement.Comment with Bubbles

“If the parties do not agree to these terms, the parties must inform the Court within 30 days that they have not reached an agreement,” the statement continued. “In that event, this case will be returned for a hearing before the Judicial Qualifications Commission.”
