You’ll want to grab a drink for this story. Or at the very least, it may have you ready for one. Sorsi, a waterfront lounge at 601 S Harbour Island Blvd, made its debut at the end of 2025, and it’s been a hit from day one.
But there’s more to the new hotspot than drinks and seagulls. The specialty spritz lounge isn’t just Italian-inspired. It’s Italian-made. Twin brothers Naza and Ludo Boscaino immigrated to the States at age six, moving from Italy to Tampa. Their memories have stayed with them, and now their roots have come to Tampa, too.

Sorsi is Italian for sips, and that’s the inspiration behind this waterfront destination: Italian sips. The Boscaino’s father founded the family-run wine operation, sourcing wine in Italy and importing the best organic varietals. The wine imported from Italy is put into kegs and is served on tap, keeping it fresh and bubbly with every pour. As for liqueurs, the Elderflower, Classico Aperitivo (Aperol) and Limoncello liqueurs are all made in-house at the winery here in Tampa with all organic ingredients, no artificial dyes or flavoring.
Liqueurs come from Italy, as well, while anything that isn’t shipped in directly from Italia is made in-house. Limoncello, Aperol – even the Prosecco arrives in kegs and is served on tap, keeping it fresh and bubbly with every pour.
An afternoon or evening spent on the shaded patio at Sorsi feels like a trip to the Amalfi Coast, and that’s by design. Naza and Ludo wanted the experience to evoke the essence of their birth country and transport those who, like them, grew up in Tampa to the Mediterranean for a few hours. The striped umbrellas, smooth floors and walls, and hanging gardens do that work on their own. Add in products shipped in from Italy, and it’s the closest we can get to an Italian escape without leaving the city.

As for the offerings at Sorsi, the spritzes are the clear star. Specialties like the Pompelmo spritz (made with in-house created dragon fruit liqueur) and the Spritz di Fragola (strawberry spritz) have become fast favorites. They have even created a lavender spritz, using housemade ingredients, to mirror a spritz one of their guests tried and loved on a trip to Italy. They also have an impressive mocktail selection for those who like their coastal escape without a buzz.
Drinks aren’t the only cool refresher from Italy, however. Sorsi offers eight different gelatos, made in the traditional fashion and with fresh ingredients, of course. Flavors change weekly, so you’ve got an excuse to return all summer long.
Once you hit the dining menu, the mental flight to Positano is complete. The meticulously prepared small plates, the delicious kebabs, the tantalizing crudo, the refreshing salads, the light flatbreads and panini… we could go on for days, and it would take you days to complete your run through the entire menu.
As the summer heats up, Sorsi on the waterfront may be the best place in town to cool down and relax. You won’t get closer to Amalfi without an Uber to TPA. Follow them on Instagram to see the latest.
