Orlando Science Center announces new shows and summer hours.
With the recent opening of The Dome by Dr. Phillips Charities, Orlando Science Center is taking advantage of its new projection capabilities with more shows and extended hours in the summer.
From July 10 through August 1, the facility will celebrate Stellar Nights on Fridays and Saturdays, staying open until 10 p.m. Weather permitting, the observatory will also be open for stargazing. With all exhibits open, visitors 21 and up will have the option to purchase beer and wine.

The big shows will be at The Dome. Giant screen films, presentations and live planetarium shows will be on the schedule along with laser light shows. All of the events will take advantage of the new technology in the recently remodeled theater. That includes 30,000 watts of sound and 8K laser projectors.
The light concerts include musicians ranging from Taylor Swift to the Beatles. Stellar Nights is included with the regular Science Center admission and free for OSC members.
