Cavalry Strategies is expanding its leadership team with the addition of Will Patrick as Executive Vice President.

Patrick joins the Tallahassee-based public relations and consulting firm after serving as a strategic policy adviser to Chief Financial Officer Blaise Ingoglia and as Deputy Communications Director for former CFO and current U.S. Rep. Jimmy Patronis.

Patrick also held communications roles under former Education Commissioners Manny Diaz Jr. and Richard Corcoran at the Florida Department of Education.

“Will is a true talent. He’s a professional writer, researcher and analytic thinker. He has experience in Florida government across many policy areas and state agencies. His leadership will help more of our clients reach their goals, rack up big wins and communicate their brand more clearly,” said Melissa Stone, CEO of Cavalry Strategies.

Before entering state government, Patrick worked as a journalist and ghostwriter. A Sarasota native, he graduated magna cum laude from Hunter College, part of the City University of New York, and lives in Tallahassee with his wife and three children.

Founded by Stone in 2016, Cavalry Strategies provides public relations, communications, government relations and political consulting services to clients in Florida and Washington, D.C.
