2026 Steelers Schedule Preview: Week 14 at the Jacksonville Jaguars

It’s the official lull of the NFL offseason, and that means it provides enough time to go over things which you might not have time to dive into when the news and storylines are rampant. One of the things which is always something I want to do is an in-depth preview on the schedule. When the schedule gets released it involves a very knee jerk reaction from the fan base, but not a lot of introspection happens once the dust settles.

Well, if you’re like me, you’re in luck. This is the detailed breakdown of the Steelers 2026 regular season schedule, by week.

Week 14 at the Jacksonville Jaguars

Date: Monday, December 14th – 8:15pm EST (MNF)

TV: ESPN

Betting Line: Jaguars (-3) / Total: 44.5

Last Meeting: 10/29/23 – Jaguars 20, Steelers 10

Overall Series Record: Jacksonville Jaguars lead series 15-13-0

2025 Records:

Steelers: 10-7

Jaguars: 13-4

Projected Starting QB Matchup: Aaron Rodgers vs. Trevor Lawrence

Analysis: Based on my predictions so far, the Steelers are coming off a home prime time loss to the Texans, which moved their record to 8-4 on the season. Another prime time game awaits, but this time it’s in Jacksonville to play the Jaguars. While the game might be away from Pittsburgh, I absolutely feel this game will feel like a home game, filled with Terrible Towels.

However, for those who think this will be an easy game, I feel differently.

The Jaguars didn’t have the best offseason, based on NFL media standards, but they will be a tough team to beat. Was the 13-win 2025 a fluke? Or was it a step in the right direction for the future trajectory of the Jacksonville franchise?

As we are talking about a Week 14 game, a lot can change between now and this game in December. Nonetheless, I have a bad feeling about this game. The Jaguars are no push over, and the Steelers have a tendency to slip up at times.

Unfortunately, I see the Steelers losing this game as they return bac to Pittsburgh for their first of two meetings with the Baltimore Ravens.

Prediction: Jaguars 24, Steelers 20
