JACKSONVILLE, N.C. — A Jacksonville man is facing multiple felony drug charges after investigators allege he used a camper in his backyard to store, package and sell illegal drugs.
According to arrest records, 39-year-old Jeremy Medina was arrested by the Onslow County Sheriff’s Office and charged with possession of methamphetamine, manufacturing fentanyl, maintaining a vehicle, dwelling or place for controlled substances, possession of fentanyl, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana paraphernalia.
Charging documents allege deputies found methamphetamine and fentanyl during the investigation. Investigators also allege a camper located behind a home on Plow Point Lane was being used to keep and sell the drugs. The documents further state the fentanyl was packaged and repackaged at the location.
According to arrest records, deputies also seized marijuana and items they identified as drug paraphernalia, including plastic baggies, containers and glass smoking devices.
Medina remains in the Onslow County Detention Center without bond.
He is scheduled to appear in court on July 9.
