Colorado called up forward Tristen Nielsen on Monday, one week after he was signed to an NHL deal. Nielsen will make his NHL debut on the fourth line, filling in the spot that Taylor Makar held in Saturday’s loss.
The Tampa Bay Lightning started the season alarmingly slow, going 1-4-2 in their first seven games. They followed it up with five consecutive wins, which gives them the longest active winning streak in the league.
This is the first time Gabe Landeskog will play against the Tampa Bay Lightning since winning the Stanley Cup in 2022.
