Northeast rapper Rico Nasty brings new album to St. Pete this fall

As she heads into one of the busiest half-years of her life, Rico Nasty has announced 12 headlining concerts across the U.S., one of which is happening in downtown St. Pete this September.

To kick off July, the 29-year-old—who is spending much of the fall opening for Hayley Williams’ upcoming solo tour—announced her next album RX, which Fueled By Ramen will release on July 24. In between her tour dates with the Paramore frontwoman, she’ll be pushing that, and hopefully bits and pieces of last year’s Lethal (stylized in all-caps), which had its own tour that stopped as close as Orlando’s Beacham last fall.

Rico, who has been on Rolling Stone’s radar since at least 2017, has actually never set foot on a stage in Tampa Bay (talk about a nightmare vacation, amirite?), and no opening act has been confirmed for this show, so don’t be surprised if it stays that way.
