TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — A crash with injuries shut down parts of a busy Tallahassee intersection Monday afternoon, prompting police to divert traffic and urge drivers to stay away.
The Tallahassee Police Department spent at least two hours working a vehicle traffic crash with injuries at the intersection of West Tennessee Street and High Road.
West Tennessee Street was closed westbound, and High Road was closed south of Westwood Lane. Traffic was being diverted north onto Buena Vista and to Westwood Lane. Eastbound Tennessee Street remained open.
Motorists were urged to avoid the area as the investigation remains open and active. Updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
