Police have swarmed a neighborhood near Liberty City in northwest Miami-Dade to investigate a shooting that took place early Tuesday morning.
A shooting investigation was taking place in a neighborhood near Liberty City in northwest Miami-Dade on July 15, 2026.
Few details have been released, but the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office said the investigation was taking place in the area of Northwest 21sst Avenue and Northwest 64th Street.
Video from the scene showed yellow crime scene tape blocking off the area, and several evidence markers and bullet casings were seen on the road.
It’s unknown what led up to the shooting, if anyone was injured or if investigators are searching for a shooter.
