Cape Coral City Councilwoman Rachel Kaduk’s DUI trial pushed back to September
CAPE CORAL, Fla. —
Cape Coral City Councilwoman Rachel Kaduk will have more time to prepare for her DUI trial after it was delayed again.
Police stopped Kaduk after a witness reported that she was driving recklessly on her way home from Oak and Stone for nearly 20 minutes, nearly hitting several cars in December 2025. Bodycam footage showed officers asking Kaduk to participate in field sobriety tests, and she initially shook her head in refusal.
Kaduk later agreed to the tests, and Cape Coral police officers reported she failed the field sobriety tests. According to documents, she refused a breathalyzer test multiple times and entered a not guilty plea.
Kaduk is facing charges of DUI and refusing to submit to testing. Her new trial date is scheduled for Sept. 16.
She was previously arrested in 2013 and faced DUI charges. She pleaded no contest to reckless driving, served six months’ probation and attended DUI school, according to records.
