Next up on the schedule for coach Dabo Swinney and the Clemson Tigers in ACC play is a matchup against a familiar conference foe that has also fallen on hard times: coach Mike Norvell’s Florida State Seminoles.
Clemson (3-5 overall, 2-4 ACC) and FSU (4-4, 1-4) have both greatly underachieved and underwhelmed this season despite the high expectations that both programs always carry.
The Tigers entered 2025 with national championship aspirations that were quickly dashed, while the Seminoles fell apart after springing a 31-17 upset on the Alabama Crimson Tide in Week 1 in Tallahassee.
Even with the program having fallen on hard times in recent years, Clemson has continued to dominate Florida State on the field. The Tigers have won eight of the last nine matchups, including a 29-13 win at Doak Campbell Stadium a season ago.
