Brightline has reintroduced a ticket package between West Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale that brings passengers’ cost per trip between the two stations below where it was when the train first rolled out.
The privately run Miami-to-Orlando rail company announced on July 8 it is selling a 40-ride pass between downtown West Palm Beach and downtown Fort Lauderdale costing about $9 per trip, below the train’s $10 one-way cost when it debuted in 2018.
The 40-ride pass costs $359. Brightline is also offering 10-ride and 20-ride packages at $239 and $319, respectively.
Brightline reintroduced the passes between West Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale due to an influx of companies moving their headquarters to those cities’ downtowns and an overall growth in businesses, the company said in a prepared statement.

“The return of the multi-ride pass connecting West Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale reflects the growing demand for flexible transportation options that support both business and lifestyle needs,” CEO Patrick Goddard said in that statement.
Brightline also offers 40-ride passes between its stations in West Palm Beach and downtown Miami for $429, for a cost of about $10.73 per trip. It offers no passes between West Palm Beach and its other stations in Boca Raton, Aventura or Orlando.
Brightline takes 40 minutes to travel between West Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale, and 1 hour and 20 minutes to Miami.
The West Palm Beach–Fort Lauderdale pass is available at GoBrightline.com and through the Brightline app.
