An overnight shooting on Wednesday near Fort Lauderdale left one person hospitalized, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office.
At around 2:30 a.m., deputies responded to a report of a shooting in the 2800 block of Northwest Sixth Court in unincorporated central Broward County, deputies say.
An injured person was found by deputies near Northwest Seventh Street and 29th Terrace, a minute drive away from where the shooting was reported.
Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue took the person to a hospital for treatment. The person’s condition was not immediately available.
