The space will also sell kitchenware, home goods, shelf-stable foods, and St. Pete Beach-themed gifts.

“I’ve always thought we have a need for great gifts and kitchenware. I think St. Pete Beach is missing that, especially for people who are still rebuilding homes on the beaches,” Heidi Butler said in a conversation with St. Pete Rising.

“The Scullery will be such a great place to just gather—whether you’re shopping for giftware, taking a class, or even setting up a bridal registry,” she added.

Butler said The Helm is expected to reopen later this month, pending final licensing approval.

The Scullery is expected to open a few weeks later, with a tentative debut in late August.

In addition to private events, The Scullery will host collaborations with guest chefs, wine tastings, ticketed dinners and themed events. Butler said programming will also include cooking classes for adults and children, along with workshops focused on oyster shucking, canning, and arts and crafts.

“We want to support arts and crafts classes too, they’ve really made a comeback,” Butler said. “I think in our world right now, we want to get away from our screens and start doing something that’s a little more productive, and we would just love to be a part of that.”
