MARTIN COUNTY, Fla. (CBS12) — A head-on crash blocked all lanes on Southeast Federal Highway in Martin County on Thursday afternoon.
The Martin County Sheriff’s Office said the crash happened around 4:37 p.m. on Federal Highway and Seabranch Boulevard, prompting a response from deputies and Martin County Fire Rescue crews.

Deputies said everyone involved was able to get out of their vehicles after the crash. Photos from the scene show multiple vehicles, including one that appeared to be totaled, with a wheel ripped off.
The sheriff’s office said both drivers were conscious and breathing, and suffered minor injuries. Deputies ask that driver seek alternative routes.
