TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Rush hour traffic along Interstate 10 got a little slower than usual Thursday evening.

Traffic started backing up after a car caught fire in the westbound lanes about halfway between meridian and sharer roads.

The incident happened just before 5 Thursday evening… And kept westbound traffic packed until well after 6, as it blocked the right shoulder.

About 6:15 Thursday evening, a tow truck removed the burned car, and traffic slowly started returning to normal.

We don’t know of any injuries related to the car fire.
