Lionel Richie was supposed to co-headline the U.K.’s Heritage Live festival next month, but the show’s been nixed after low ticket sales. Hell, American fans were probably worried about getting to see the 77-year-old R&B icon after he postponed two shows due to health scares.

The “Endless Love” singer hasn’t said what sidelined him, but thanked fans for giving a damn after he got dizzy performing “Dancing on the Ceiling” at a June 24 concert (understandable, that song is no joke).

Surviving Earth, Wind & Fire members Verdine White, Philip Bailey, and Ralph Johnson bring what’s left of their band to open the show.

Tickets to see Lionel Richie play Tampa’s Benchmark International Arena on Wednesday, July 22 are still available and start at $57.
